General Department

The General Department offers Basic Sciences, Humanities, Social Science and Physical Education courses needed for successful completion of the Diploma programme. The science courses offered by the department provide the fundamental knowledge necessary for understanding the scientific principles that underpin various engineering disciplines.

The science lab courses enable the students to actively conduct experiments, gain hands-on experience with scientific concepts, develop practical skills, and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. The humanities courses, both theory and lab, are tailored to enhance communication skills, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning. Physical education course aims at the optimum development of an individual through continuous process of learning and participation in guided physical activities.
